Welcome to the Cell and Molecular Biology Graduate Program
The CMB Graduate Program at the University of Texas at Austin provides a highly interactive, supportive environment with excellent opportunities to participate in cutting edge biological and biomedical research with over 130 faculty from three different colleges.
Training is available in seven different research tracks:

- Chemical Biology & Drug Discovery
- Molecular Genetics
- Neurobiology
- Biomolecular Structure and Function
- Plant Molecular Biology
Each of the tracks provides specialized courses and training for the graduate students beyond the basic core curriculum. We welcome applications from qualified candidates ready to pursue graduate level study in these areas.
