Core facilities are supported by the new Center for Biomedical Research Support at The University of Texas at Austin. The facilities offer a full range of services in nucleic acid sequencing, mass spectrometry for protein ID and analysis, next-generation sequencing, x-ray crystallography, bioinformatics, and transgenic - knockout mice. The facilities are open to all university members. The philosophy has been to keep the core facilities as comprehensive and accessible as possible to increase faculty, staff and student research productivity.
